My Experience with The Face Shop BR02 Single Shadow Shimmer:

This eyeshadow comes in a cute and tiny round plastic pan. The pan is white in color and has a clear flip top lid. The lid shuts tightly and that makes it fit to carry around in your vanity bag. The clear lid helps to spot the shade easily from makeup stash during rush hours.

These tiny pans from The Face Shop are easy to store and can be stacked up easily. It does not come with any applicator but this is not really a con for me as I rarely use those small sponge applicators that come attached with eyeshadow kits. Overall, I am happy with the packaging of the product.

“BR02” is a light brown color shade. It is called shadow shimmer and it has very fine silver micro shimmers in it, which are too sparse and barely noticeable, so this eyeshadow looks slightly shimmery. It is not loaded with shimmer which makes it look even more natural on the eyes.

This eyeshadow is great for everyday use, as it looks subtle and nice on the eyes. I love such brown shades for everyday looks. This shade works as a great base for blending other eyeshadows. The formula is decently pigmented and the color shows up in just two swipes. The color is really nice, matte and buildable.

The texture of this eye shadow is soft and smooth. It does not feel chalky or powdery. It has a soft, velvety feel. There is hardly any fallout issue. It glides effortlessly on the eyelids and blends beautifully like a dream without much effort.

The color looks nice and never gets patchy. The color looks more intense with an eye shadow primer underneath. The longevity of the eye shadow is somewhere around 4 hours on my oily eyelids with an eye primer underneath. Hence, the lasting power is not really remarkable, but overall it is a nice eyeshadow.
