This weekend I did a company of Team Yankee 15mm T-72s - inspired after re-reading Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising and reading First Clash by Kenneth Macksey for the first time during the past two weeks while I was traveling for work. I'm stoked to do the
4th CMBG when it comes out! I am also looking forward to the publication of Battlegroup Northag expected later this year to play out the scenarios from the book.
The Battlefront T-72s are great - easy plastic kits and I like that you can swap out CE or buttoned up versions, and the ability to fit some of them with mine plows (these feature prominently in Macksey's book).
Secretly - I am also curious about how many hits my blog will get courtesy of the Russian bots with this topic in the title...
I also diddled with my airbrush on some StugIIIs in 1/72.
